
Jajarkot, April 24: A newly constructed building of Shree Shankar Bhawan Secondary School located at Bheri municipality-2 has been handed over today. The building was constructed with financial support of Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia. The NRNA, Australia, had provided 25,000 Australian dollars collecting from Nepalis living in Australia for the construction of the building. NRNA, Australia, President, Anil Pokharel inaugurated the building at a programme organized here today. Youth Awareness Raising Centre Nepal (YARCN) Jajarkot provided technical support for the construction of the building. Saying they are very happy for getting opportunity to provide support for the construction of school building, he opined such type of support would be continued in coming days. Financial support was collected in Australia from Nepali community and provided relief to victims of Jajarkot earthquake, occurred in 2079 BS and monetary support was collected for construction of school building later, he added. Teaching learning activities have already been started from the newly constructed building from this academic session. Similarly, Chairperson of School Management Committee, Surya Prakash Singh, thanked NRNA Australia for the monetary support for the construction of the school building. NRNA, Australia, Vice-President Shambhu Gaisi, Regional Coordinator of NRNA Oceania, Dinesh Pokharel, locals and students were present on the occasion.
