Kathmandu, July 9: The House of Representatives has endorsed the amendment made by the National Assembly to the Constitutional Council (Function, Duties, Powers and Procedures) (First Amendment) Bill, 2079 BS. Today's meeting of the Lower House approved the amendment by a majority vote. The amendment made by the National Assembly regarding the bill was discussed in the House of Representatives on July 8. The bill, which has been passed by both houses, will now go into the verification process. The next meeting of the House of Representatives will be held on July 13.
