Kathmandu, April 17: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pande, has said the ideals of the Khaptad Swami help guide society and humanity towards the right track. During a programme organized by the Khaptad Baba Jyoti Award Committee in the federal capital on Thursday, Minister Pande viewed the knowledge gained after devotion help people follow right path in life. The awards and honours distributed in the name of such spiritual icons is a matter of achievement, he observed. On the occasion, Professor Dr Mukunda Lamichhane at Nepal Sanskrit University, said the books penned by Khaptad Swami like Bichar Bigyan and Swasthya Bigyan contributes tremendously to a personality development. Chairperson of the organizing body, lecturer Govind Prasad Dahal, informed that the awards in Khaptad Baba's name were conferred on the students of Sanskrit languages. The amount of the award was now increased from Rs 100 thousand to Rs half million. Students excelling in Sanskrit schools and university were provided the awards on the occasion. ----
