
Kathmandu, April 24: The newly-appointed Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Raghuji Pant, assumed his office at the Ministry in Singhadurbar after taking the oath of office and secrecy from the President, Ramchandra Paudel, this afternoon. On the occasion, Minister Pant stated that the demands of the agitating schoolteachers would be resolved through talks. The Minister said he would take further steps after taking detail information about the education sector. After the resignation of then Education Minister Bidya Bhattarai, the CPN (UML) Standing Committee Member and HoR Member Pant was appointed the minister from the President on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday.
