
Damauli (Tanahun), June 9: Around 53 percent construction works have been completed in the western section of the Muglin-Pokhara road expansion project. Over half of the designated works have been completed from Jamun (Tanahun) to the Seti Bridge (Pokhara, Kaski), according to the Muglin Pokhara road project (western section). Project chief Krishna Bahadur Kunwar informed that blacktopping has been done on both sides of 24-km stretch while 12.8-km section has been blacktopped one way. Remaining three-kilometer is yet to be blacktopped one way in the western section and it will be completed by mid-June, he shared. Construction of ten out of 12 bridges have been so far completed in the western section, he said adding 92 among 100 culverts have been constructed. A total of 424 electric poles are to be removed in the section which has also delayed the overall construction works, he shared.
