Kathmandu. LRR Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized importer of DreamSmart China in Nepal, is proud to announce the resounding success of the Geely EX5 electric vehicle (EV) at this year’s NADA Auto Show.

During the six-day automotive exhibition, the Geely EX5 received 187 confirmed bookings, marking a strong debut in the Nepalese EV market.

The Geely EX5, showcased in two variants – max and pro, attracted massive footfall at the LRR Motors stall and quickly became one of the highlights of the show. With its advanced technology, impressive range, and sleek design, the EX5 resonated with visitors looking for a reliable, premium, and stylish EV option.

According to Shrestha, customers were particularly attracted by the enhanced and latest battery system that the EX5 series features.

The battery, manufactured in-house by Geely Holding Group, has passed eight needle tests and is the world’s first waterproof, fireproof, and bulletproof battery, making it the first of its kind. With a lifespan of 3,500 charge cycles (approximately 1 million kilometers or 50 years), it surpasses all other currently available batteries. Additionally, LRR Motors has also offered an 8-year or 1.6 lakh km battery warranty on Geely vehicles.

According to LRR Motors, the success of the Geely EX5 at NADA further strengthens the company’s vision of promoting eco-friendly transportation and supporting Nepal’s green mobility future. Deliveries of the booked units will commence from Monday, with customers soon experiencing the perfect balance of performance, comfort, and sustainability that the EX5 offers.
